The food is amazing and the chef was very personable. However the waitress kept disappearing for a extended period of time
First of all, this isn't a Japanese restaurant. I know they advertise themselves as a Japanese spot, but the food isn't Japanese. If authentic Japanese food is what you're looking for, I would probably go somewhere else. That's not to say that the food isn't good though. The food was surprisingly pleasant. I didn't know what to expect, but every bite was full of flavor. I was caught off guard when I received the bill and found out they charged $1 per cup of water... I'm sorry but that's pretty ridiculous. Put that shit in fine print or at least tell the customer they're gonna be charged for water when you ask them if they want a drink. Other than that, pretty solid spot for Asian food.
I love their food! It has some amazing bowl's there. I'm always eating from this place. Their carrots are the best I've ever eaten. My go to for lunch is a shrimp bowl with just carrots. My go to dinner is a combination dinner. It has stake, chicken, and shrimp with rued rice and vegetables. I'm so in love with the sweet tea. It's always sweet.
The food is great and at a reasonable price. The service is very good compared to other crappy restaurants that I've been to. It is clean and it doesn't take long for the food to be ready! I really love this place!!!!!!
While in town for work ordered take out Steak&Shrimp Hibachi and an order of dumplings. When arriving to pick up the order the first impression is the cleanliness of the front of the house. This implicates a clean kitchen as well. The hostess was pleasant in her inquiries and knowledgeable of the menu. Upon arriving home and opening the take out, the box was bursting with delicious food. Seriously the box was stuffed full. The steak, which seemed to be sirloin, was cooked perfectly medium as ordered and the shrimps were medium sized, cooked well and seasoned deliciously. I would've given 5 stars but the dumplings, although steamed well, were not on par with my expectations. They were slightly overdone and lacked the signature zest of the dish. Highly recommend this place if you're near and looking for budget friendly, quality food.
